Skopje International Airport (SKP) Car Hire

Drivers must meet all renter requirements. A daily charge of 3.54 EUR will be assessed for all car groups. All fees quoted include VAT.

After Hours is a service provided to pick up and/or return a vehicle outside branch opening hours. This service is on request and minimum advance notice of 24 hours is required. An additional charge of 20.00 EUR plus VAT applies and should be paid at the rental counter at the time of pick-up. This service charge applies for pick-ups and returns between 2:30 AM and 8 AM. 

The minimum age requirement to drive all vehicles is 21. The maximum rental age is 75. An additional fee of 17.70 EUR per day plus airport surcharges applies to all renters over the age of 70. A young driver fee of 17.70 EUR plus airport surcharges per day applies for all renters between the ages of 21 and 24 wishing to rent the categories Intermediate, Standard and Full Size. The young renter fee does not apply to Mini, Economy and Compact vehicles.

Vehicles can be driven in all European countries, except Turkey. A surcharge for a Third-Party Insurance (TPI) will apply and must be purchased at the rental counter. The charge is 35.40 EUR including VAT per each border of the driving country. The vehicle is covered by TPI as long as it is driven inside the borders of the country for which it is issued. Roadside assistance or car replacement while driving abroad are available, charges may apply. To arrange cross border travel please email contact@enterprise.mk for assistance.

Covers the renters’ liability for damages and fire to the rented vehicle - under the condition that the damage is not due to infringement of Road Circulation Code and/or the usage of alcohol and drugs, with a deductible amount from 500 EUR to 1.000 EUR depending on car group. CDW does not provide any coverage concerning damages provoked at the underside part of the vehicle, inside part of the vehicle-saloon, wind shields, mirrors and tires. If CDW is not including to the Rental Agreement, the renter is liable to pay the total amount of the damages of the rented car. If there is a third party involved to an incident, we recommend clients to call the police authorities to the incident - police report is mandatory to file a claim to the insurance company. If no police report is available, client have the fully responsibility of the incident. Any damage caused due to driver negligence and/or in breach of the road circulation code on the driving country, are not covered by CDW and the driver should pay vehicle damages in total. If the driver drives the vehicle off the official road network and the vehicle immobilized, the driver will be charged the cost of towing the vehicle from the roadside assistance.

For deliveries and collections within city limits radius a flat charge of 10,00 EUR plus VAT applies and should pay locally. For distances longer than 15 km an additional charge of 0.70 EUR plus VAT plus Airport Fee per km applies and should pay locally as well.

This is on request service and is available in specific locations in North Macedonia. One-way rentals must be requested at the time of booking and an advance notice of 24 hours required. Unauthorized one-way drops will be charged at the end of the rental. All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it is collected will be subject to a one-way fee. The one-way fee must be paid at the rental counter at the pickup. Domestic one way rentals are allowed for all car groups at a charge of 59.00 EUR including VAT excluding Airport Fee. International one way rentals are allowed to select locations and the fee depends on the route and the drop off location. Vehicle will be supplied with full tank of fuel and should be returned full.

If the car is not returned full the renter will be charged for missing fuel + service fee which is 10 Euro + tax.

During the winter season of 15 November to 15 March and in cases of inclement winter weather conditions in the country of Macedonia all rental vehicles are fitted with winter tires in accordance to local road laws. Winter tires are included in all rates.

Covers the renter of the vehicle of up to 4500 EUR in case of death, bodily injuries and total or partial disability up to 9000 EUR and up to 2200 EUR for medical expenses incurred due to accident. PAI does not cover accidents prior or after the rental and those outside of the rental car. If PAI is purchased the rental car is insured for one person - the named driver. Additional drivers will need to present their driving license at the time of rental pickup. Cost of PAI coverage is 1.50 EUR per day per registered driver for all car groups.

Visa, American Express, Diners and Mastercard credit cards are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter’s name. A security deposit will be blocked on the credit card and the estimated cost of the rental will be charged at the time of pickup. The deposit will be released by the cardholder's bank upon notification of return of the vehicle. The car categories Mini and Economy require a deposit of 290.00 EUR, Compact and Intermediate vehicles have a 390.00 EUR deposit, Full size and Standard vehicles require a 1000.00 EUR deposit. Debit cards and cash cards are accepted as forms of payment for the rental or to purchase additional products. The deposit must be paid with a valid credit card. Roadside Assistance is offered free of charge and is available 24-7 within the territory of North Macedonia. This includes vehicle replacement within 24 hours and telephone service support. The Roadside Assistance telephone number is provided at the time of rental. Roadside Assistance and car replacement is available outside the borders of North Macedonia. Additional charges may apply.

All drivers must present a full valid driving license and a valid identity card or passport. All drivers must have held their full license for a minimum of 1 year. Renters carrying a driving license from an EU member state or their driving licenses are in Latin Characters do not require an International Driving Permit. For all other countries a valid International Driving Permit is required along with the national driving license. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Please note that we reserve the right to request additional ID or conduct further identification checks if needed which may include an identity check with an external organization.
