Vehicles can be driven within the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland excluding Bulgaria, Romania, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece and Cyprus. In all cases, customers must inform the rental branch of their intention to leave the country with the vehicle.
Outside of the Czech Republic, the renter is responsible for the vehicle's compliance with local road laws, vehicle standards, compulsory equipment and vehicle requirements. The customer is also responsible for paying any applicable toll or vignette when travelling abroad.
A cross-border fee of 36.30 EUR (incl. VAT) per 30-day period covers travel to Slovakia, Germany, Poland and Austria only.
A cross-border fee of 66.70 EUR (incl. VAT) per 30-day period covers travel to Switzerland, Slovenia, Hungary, and Croatia in addition to Slovakia, Germany, Poland and Austria.
A cross-border fee of 108.90 EUR (incl. VAT) per 30-day period covers travel to all permitted countries.
Unauthorised cross-border travel will result in a breach of contract and incur a fee of 1210 EUR (incl. VAT).
